Abit: Leaving Motherboard Manufacturing
Perhaps everyone else knows this and I am way behind the times...
I hate rumors and I certaining won't post them but two days ago I ran into this at another site: http://channel.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=15225 Immediately I went to the Abit Forum and read with interest a long sticky concerning this news and for awhile the posts weren't 100% sure until they linked to this link: http://www.hardocp.com/news.html?new...VudGh1c2lhc3Q= Kyle Bennet, HardOCP Editor-in-Chief stated in the discussion boards that Abit couldn't compete because they weren't selling enough boards. * If this certainly holds true it is another 2nd Tier loss for us. We've already lost EPoX. * Abit's P35 boards are excellent. Last edited by Route44; 09-05-2008 at 11:07 PM.. |

I used Abit motherboards a lot, really reliable. But usually they get zapped by storms.
