Hi :

First off, it is best to use the latest version ( 2.0.2 ) of HijackThis .
Second : perhaps the FREE "Process Explorer" from
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896653.aspx
can accomphish the Task !?

Hi :

Will mention your HijackThis Log is very "skimpy"; does not show even the Presence of an antivirus program !? The program recommended to be used when
a Virtumonde "infection" is suspected, is the FREE "VundoFix" available from
http://vundofix.atribune.org/ . IF you use this program, follow the Directions on
that website .

I feel your frustration. Pause for a bit, take a deep breath, and go after it again when you are up to the challenge.
