RS-232C cable

hi , i bought an RS-232C cable but i found out that i do not have it's port in my cpu . what can i do ? plz help

You can buy a PCI RS-232C adapter card and install it into your computer. I am going to have to do this too. My new motherboard doesn't have a serial port either. My old APC UPS needs a serial connection to the computer
