Quotations on Computers

In this thread, members can post their favourite quotation(s) on computing. These can be serious or amusing.

I start off with a few random quotations:

• If the automobile had followed the same development cycle as the computer, a Rolls-Royce would today cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year, killing everyone inside. (Robert X Cringely)

• If a trainstation is where the train stops, what's a workstation...?

• Multimedia? As far as I'm concerned, it's reading with the radio on! (Rory Bremner)

• You can tell you are a Computer addict if:
You just tried to enter your password on the microwave.
Your reason for not staying in touch with family is that they do not have e-mail addresses.
You get an extra phone line so you can get phone calls.
