A Hard Drive question

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy myself a 600-700gb internal hard drive. My current hard drive is a Maxtor 6B300S0 (300gb). The drive I'll be buying next will be faster than my current drive but bigger. Now here's my question:

Should I leave windows on my current drive or install it on my new drive?

Will I notice any speed change?

I'm a big gamer but I'm not sure if I should keep my new drive for programs and games or whether I should be installing windows on my new drive and sacking my old one.

Will there be a difference?

Cheers?

I'd make the new drive as a Slave, and then put the PageFile on it.
click the Start button
click Control Panel
click System and Maintenance
click Performance Information and Tools
click Advanced Tools (in the Tasks pane at the left side of the dialog box)
click Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.

After answering the User Account Control prompt, you’ll arrive at the
Performance Options dialog box. You’re nearly there

click the Advanced tab, and then click Change.

Then just load, all my games and Programs to the new Drive

I'll be getting the Samsung SpinPoint F1 HD103UJ 1TB and I'm going to format my current Hard Drive. Do you think it's worth me just loading everything (vista+games/programs) onto the new drive or have my current drive to load vista whilst the new one takes all the programmes?

Sorry wasn't clear with what I stated

Keep your current drive for Vista OS (and security updates, so forth...)
And use the new drive for Progams and games (so forth...)
