If you're in it for design and colors, you have a winner. The characters are not immediately noticeable, but I don't think that's the important thing here.

However, there is a notable exception when the character depicted is of paramount importance, and that is when the character depicted is a cat.

Furthermore, I consider it preferable that the avatar should match the nickname, and ideally both should be cats. Needless to add that if a signature picture is also allowed, it should also be that of a cat.

I didn't know that you can have an avatar. I didn't see the link. Anyway, you're avatar looks nice - tho way too small. You should make it bigger - a lot bigger - say twice the size - bigger is better than tiny
