Programming Board?

Hi ya guys,

While being interested in computers in general i tend to be specifically interested in programming, as i'm sure many other people would be here.

Is there any chance you could add a programming board to the forums?

Kind regards,
Scott

Good idea. While I am not a programmer - I always thought that was lacking here.

We tried this a few years ago, and it has been suggested before as well.

Please read this thread for the last suggestion.

It looks like Julio left the option open to create a sub form inside the Software forum....maybe if enough interest is shown in this thread we can make that happen.

Since it was tried years ago, when there was less programmers due to relatively boring and hard to learn languages like C with limited IDE and resources as there are today. More and more people are learning to program and develop websites meaning now there would be much more chance of success having a programming / web developing board than all those years ago ;-)

Kind regards,
Scott

nope - not at all. I find (the act of programming) boring, plus I don't have the free time. (and I have taken programming classes when I was an undergraduate in college.) But I am a full time Army officer with too many responsibilities.
But I am mildly interesting in looking at algorithms and seeing others program.
