Boot menus
Ok so I have a 3-4 year old laptop that came with XP installed by default. For some reason, I thought it was a bright idea to go and dual boot XP and Vista. So I installed Vista and after 5 minutes got a virus that made vista unusable. For a month I just left VIsta there until I decided I needed more HDD space, so I formatted the Vista partition using XP.ANnoyingly, this left the windows boot menu on (when I start up it asks me to choose between XP and Vista and vista doesnt work). SO then I thought that installing ubuntu would use grub to override the menu, but no. SO now I have two boot menus that slow down my startup time, one GRUB and one Windows menu, Is there any way tp get rid of the Windows menu? I dont mind the GRUB.
