Major DRAM makers could face legal charges

A document released by the Federal Trade Commission late Wednesday could add weight to accusations that some dynamic RAM manufacturers may have conspired to fix prices during 2001.

The three big names in the DRAM market: Infineon, Samsumg and Micron are going through investigations from both the Federal Trade Commission & the U.S. Department of Justice for cartel-like behaviour during a period between 2001 and 2002.
