8800gt strange corruption issue
hi,
i have had my 8800gt for 6 months now and i have been experiancing texture corruption and usually followed by a crash, the corruption occurs in crysis, supreme comander and very rarely in COD 4. i dont think it is heat related. i recently changed from a modded 177.79(NO PHYSX) to 178.13 (with PHYSX). i have a OCZ Slientstream 500 watt psu and a thermaltake 250 watt pure graphic card power psu, i am running xp sp3 x32. can someone help me with resovling this issue Last edited by FoReWoRd; 10-12-2008 at 09:52 AM.

What is your motherboards model? Who made the 8800GT?

The motherboard is an ASROCKPENRYN1600SLI and my 8800gt is manufactured by 'Point Of View'

UK, but i think it might be heat, which are good 8800gt coolers for about £15 inc postage

nVidia have wide range of cards that had a bad production run, resulting in failure. Might be worthwhile to try RMAing it.
