Video card help

I'm not very smart when it comes to technical things so i need some help.
I recently bought a new laptop and i tried to install the Sims 2 game.I think i'm having problems with my video card. It's an SiS mirage 3 graphics..but on the sims 2 website it only lists appropriate video cards under the headings Ati and nvidia..does this mean i can't play my game? what do i need to do to get it to work? please, please help x

FYI

If you have a non-T&L capable video card (an Intel Extreme Graphics or a Radeon 7000/VE Series) then you need at least:

2.0 GHz processor or better
256 MB RAM if Windows Vista, XP, Windows ME, Windows 98, or Windows 2000
At least 3.5 GB of hard drive space

This doesn't mean that your "SiS mirage 3 graphics" will work or not.
You are best to confirm your graphics card drivers are up to date, from your Manufactures Driver Support page

For any further help please put your System Specs information in your Profile
