InsaneVr6 Posts: 221 +0 Oct 14, 2008 #3 If the new hdd your putting in the laptop is the same size as the one currently in your laptop, then yes you should be fine to upgrade. It also has to be either SATA or ATA (depends on what your laptop supports)
