Sluper slow laptop, lots of trojans/viruses, scans in "before you post" not possible
Please please help! I am desperate. My laptop (Dell Inspiron 6000) is running incredibly slow.. I know it is in very bad shape and that it's full of trojans/viruses. I read through the "Before you Post" thread and tried to follow the instructions, but I can't even get through the scans. I really want to restore it and not lose any of my files or anything. I appreciate whatever help you can give!!

Safe Mode?
Have you tried using the Safe Mode and running the virus spyware scans?
I would give that a try if that has not been attempted.

Yeah me too I recommend you to get a try on the Safe Mode but also some Virus scan won't be able to load too sometimes but lots do.
Also if you want you can backup you important files on a DVD or Pendrive and reformat the PC but you will need to find a place to scan for the files you backup before putting it back to your new OS.
