Best Gaming Laptop for less than $1500?

I've been doing some research, and I have narrowed it down to two candidates:

the Acer Aspire AS8930-6247
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...IN#detailspecs
and the Asus G50V
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834220379

The Acer has a significantly bigger display (18.4"), a blu ray drive, and a Geforce 9600. The Asus has a 9700, and a 15.4" inch screen. What do you guys think? Do you have any other suggestions for a gaming rig under $1500? I appreciate it.

Neither. I'd pick this instead.

Sorry, I meant to link to the tiger direct page for the acer. So you guys think I should go for the Gateway, then?

Absolutely. There's nothing better available AFAIK for the same price.

To agree with Rage once agian, for your price range, that is the best gaming laptop I have seen. If I had the money laying around I would snatch one up.
