is there a way to put xp on the acer x1200, has anyone dont it without the errors? i try and it always fails. can someone please help. im sick of vista nothing works. please help.

You first need to confirm Acer supplies all Xp Drivers
Then just put in the Xp CD and remove the Partition when asked
Or approach Acer for the Xp Recovery CD (if exists)

Sometimes the manufacture do not supply the drivers for the older OS
