Adobe is about to add bar codes to electronic forms based on its extremely popular PDF format. Early backers of the new capabilities include the IRS which is a big win for Adobe who also plans to extend PDF technology to work along with XML and so on.

Now that's a good idea...I wonder if they will get ballsy and possibly write a barcode reader\inventory management application and market a gun line as well?
