Techspot fourm clock

Either my system clock is 15 minutes fast, or the forum clock is 15 minutes slow. I don't think it's my system clock

I think he has tried to change this many times before. Maybe when he makes changes to the software it might change the clock.

Hehe, the BIOS clock is set wrong, so when the server is rebooted it gets the wrong time from the BIOS...

So when the server crashed now a few days back.....

You can sync the HW clock manually to the system clock by running hwclock with appropriate options.

You have to be careful withthe settings tho.. Better copy the clock syncing part from /etc/init.d/halt into a separate script and make it run hourly or daily.
