Firefox redirect
I've been working on this for 3 days and cannot shake it. When doing a Google search, and clicking on one of the links I'm redirected to some random site.
I've run MalwareBytes Anti Malware, CCleaner, Avira, and Super Anti Spy Multiple times. Internet Explorer and Google Chrome are uneffected. All 3 browsers were not working right before, but only Firefox is giving me as problem now. Do i need to post a log from HJT first? |

I am attaching the log, as I'm sure it will be necessary.

OK, I just disabled a Firefox plug in called "Google Update" and the problem seems to be fixed. The option to uninstall this greyed out though.
How do I get rid of it? Spoke too soon. rebooted and the problem came back even though it says the plug in is still disabled.AAARRRRGGGGHHH!! |
