Mozilla Firefox blocking .swf/flash files

I've got:
- Adobe Flash player version 10,0,12,36 installed
- Mozilla Firefox 3.0.4 installed

Sometimes when I go on websites with flash or .swf files, all I get is a blank white screen in the area where the flash or .swf files are meant to be.

Any suggestions on how i can fix this?

Do you get an arrow on the blank screen? If so, click on that and the flash should start.

It sounds like you have an add-on such as 'No Flash' which will prevent the display unless you click on the arrow. If this is not the case, give me the names of the add-ons you have:
Tools> Add-ons.

I just get a blank white box, with nothing appearing. If I write click it it says:
- Movie not loaded yet
- About adobe flash player

My add-ons for Mozilla Firefox are:
- AVG Safe Search
- Fast Video Download

Thanks for the update. But would like to know how you got it working again- helps the next person who asks!

Hmm..It worked perfectly fine yesterday. And now it doesn't seem to work :S?

Yesterday, I just uninstalled the Flash Video Ext.

I'm going to have a look at the link you have posted.

Bobbye, I have uninstalled Adobe Flash player and reinstalled the new one. I also copied the .DLL files from the Macromed Folder into the Mozilla Firefox Plugins folder. This did not seem to change anything.

I have posted below a picture of what the problem is.

Sorry, I can't tell anything from the image. Could it be that the problem is related to the site or specific flash you're trying to view? Try to make that determination- then you will know that the problem isn't yours.
