i need help i have a rar file and i need to convert it to iso but when i try to convert it to iso it says not a recognized format so what can i do to convert it any opinions
facts would help

Rar is simply a compressed file format. so xxx.rar is a file which contains multiple compressed files

iso is a cd image format. If you have a yyy.iso file you can burn it with your CD/DVD burner

so you need elaborate cause simply stating "convert rar to iso" isn't really clear what need be done. The answer probably requires needing to know what types for files are supposed to get burned to CD and what do you expect your CD drive to do with them?

well i tell you the truth i downloaded a segadreamcat game and i need it to bee an iso i checked what file type was it but it says e-jgr.001 and it says file type e-jgr.001
and goes on like that till it gets to e-jgrr.026 when extracted and i cant convert it

Well, one opinion is it sounds as though you've tried downloading a bootleg copy of the game? In which case I won't (nor will TechSpot allow anyone) to help you.

If i'm wrong about it being bootleg you'll have to give some indication of that (like the site you downloaded from and are these games free and with no support?)

well i do have a dreamcast but it broke and the games are free and from rom <link removed>
