MSN Messenger sends msg automatically to all contacts

i got this just now where a msg saying - " haha tinyurl.com/197342 " not a real link tho but something like that. it aumatically send to all of my contacts, my compuetr got lagged for while until it finished sending out to all of them. and i told them not to click it. what was that some kinda virus? how to get rid of it?

Were you trying to download some game or something, like "Final Fantasy VIII"

i did dl some cracked software, movies, off minitorrent, and some other sites i did alot of downloading that i dont know whcih one was the cause

TechSpot cannot actually help you if you are going to continue this practice
ie What's the use, we'll get you clean (All Virus\Malware removed) and then you will just go and get re-infected in one day!

So the question is do you feel that you are going to continue downloading this type of thing?
If not, click on the above link in blue (in my first reply to you)
If you will continue to download this [I]stuff[/I], then, well, you shouldn't be using Windows
