Where to get Flash 9?
I've read on some blogs etc that the new version of Flash (10) won't work with Firefox. I've got 2 pc's with XP where that is the case.
On my laptop, somehow or other Flash 10 snuck in there, now I can't even open videos on Yahoo videos like for news & sports clips. The advertisements play fine, of course. I tried to find Flash v9 but can't find it anywhere. They say it's available on the Adobe site, but when I download it, it won't install. And how do I get rid of 10, and keep it out of my machines? Thanks |

You find Flash v9 archived here: click on download Flash Player 9 (139 MB)
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...nalId=tn_14266 Suggest you uninstall Flash 10 in Add/Remove Programs in the control Panel. If that is a problem, open IE> Tools> Manage ad-ons> find the shockwave flash object> highlight> disable. Then do the uninstall. |

I am using flash 10 with firefox 3.0.5. You must have some other issues. I would uninstall and reinstall firefox then flash 10.
