Old Xbox pad on a Vista 64 machine

hello i recently dug out my game elements Freak Series Xbox controller and spliced a usb cable to it like this I have also done as suggested on how to get the drivers working using xbcd from Here but nothing works does anyone know where to find a set of drivers that will work for this or how to get it going? thanks in advance for any help...oh heres a pic of the controller if it helps

check your bios to make sure the 1.0 tables are enabled

sorry if it makes me sound dumb but how exactly do i do that? and what do i do if these 1.0 tables are not enabled?

System specs
check your system documents to enter the bios and
locate the table switch

i rebooted and pressed Delete as i was instructed to enter bios setup but i saw no table 1.0 anywhere...im probably doing it wrong argh lol i thought getting this darn controller to work would be easy...i have a Gigabyte S-Series motherboard GA-P35-DS3L if that helps and vista 64 bit
