When your system Blue Screens what is the error code given? Like this:

0x00000024: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM

0x0000004E: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

0x000000EA: THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER

If nvlddmkm.sys is listed as the cause then it begins to make sense why you are having freezing issues because it is an Nvidia display driver and there is a lot on the Web concerning it.

Do a search for nvlddmkm.sys and you'll see what I mean.

Google "nvlddmkm.sys error fix" and see what you come up with. Also, go to the Nvidia forums and read what people are saying about this problem and possible fixes.
