Wireless Laptop Settings

I have a colleague, who can turn on his laptop (IBM), get a wireless connection, log into our company network, and receive full access to all of his network drives.

Yet I have another colleague, who turns on his laptop (IBM), gets a wireless connection, logs into the same company network, yet only receives partial network drive connectivity. He must then log into the network again to receive the rest of his network drives.

Both people are using Windows XP, Service Pack 2, and Novell 4.91 service pack 2. Is there a setting or switch that can be changed to allow the second individual to only have to log into the network once to obtain full access to all network drives like the first individual can?

Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
