Another BCCODE
Hi,
I have a recurring problem with XP media center shutting down and restarting at apparently random times. From what I have seen here you guys seem to know how to figure out what is causing this. The error report looks like this: BCCODE 40000080 BCP1: 89E554D0 BCP2: 895F7E68 BCP3: BACC7E60 BCP4: 00000001 OSVER:5_1_2600 SP:3_0 PRODUCT: 256_1 I am attaching the 5 most recent minidump files Any and all help most gratefully appreciated William |

All of your minidump errors are 0x80 and they all point to the driver ele5132.sys.
Read this link from last February and it should help. Bsod - analyze dump file Do us a favor and get back to us if either updating the drivers or replacing the NIC (Network) card resolved the issue for you. The last guy never got back to us and such information is valuable. By the way, you don't need to individually Zip your minidumps. You can group 5 together in one Zip File. Good luck and we look forward on hearing from you. |

Driver
I could not find a newer version of the driver ele5132.sys. I rolled back to the previous version and it seems to be working.
I'm not sure how long I have been on the latest driver but the date on the driver was in 2007. I rolled back to a version from 2006 and we will see how it works out. I'll be back if the problem comes back. Many thanks for the help, William |
