First time building a computer

Hi,

I have very old computer and now I decided to build new one. I did some reading and already choosen parts:

(MSI K9N SLI-2F, nForce570 SLI ATX)
PSU (ANTEC PSU TRUE POWER TRIO 650W PFC SLI)
GPU (Geforce 9800 gtx+ sli)
CPU (AMD ATHLON 64 X2 6000+ am2+)
HDD (SeaGate 320 GB)
DDR2 (2gb 800mhz (Kingston Dimm) x2
ZALMAN CPU COOLER S.478/775/AM2/754/ 939

I want to know is these parts compatible with each other?
Is it bad that motherboard has am2 socket while CPU has am2+?
650w would be enough for this system?

Couple of things really.

They all will work together, however:
  • That mobo is know to get very hot. Take a look here

The question was whether it get hot and the reply was posted
The quote in particular is this:
    Quote:
It's the same for every motherboard based on nForce590/570 SLi compared to ones based on Xpress3200.
Nothing to worry about if you don't intend to overclock
Just in case you were thinking about Overclocking.
  • The sockets will work together. Am2 and Am2+ are compatible and are really only difference in speed.[/*]
  • 650 should be fine for that system. However if you can get more then i would.[/*]

The only thing i was unable to check was the RAM. I'm sure that will work fine but its best to check if you can post a link

Also i'm not sure about the CPU cooler. I know Am2 and Am2+ are compatible but I'm not to sure about the fan socket.

Apart from the last 2 it should work together.
