Question about my notebook's memory

Hello,
I'm now to the forum, and I find it quite cool also the site.
So to the question,
I have one old notebook : Acer Aspire 3613 and it has two memory sticks(2x256 DDR2 @ 667MHz).
I want to add more, and to replace the old ones. But i don't know what is the limit or is there any?I was thinking of 2x1 GB @ 667 MHz.
Is it possible , can this notebook have this amount of memory.

I would be very grateful for every answer.

There is no such thing as a stupid question. The stupid events occur when one doesn't ask the questions. Asking the question improves your thinking as you begin to phrase the question. Responding to the question makes other think through what they know and how little they remember for sure.
