friend having problems with usb items usb mouse works on all usb ports front and back 3 thumb drives wont work and then they all worked again 2 weeks later same thing happens i bring the comp home to my place everything works properly
she has a hp printer, a usb mouse, a wireless internet connect and running xp home has any body had this problem before peter

There could be a loose connection someplace. That usually explains issues like this when a computer is moved around and has different results different places.

thanks for that i reformated the comp and havnt heard back from them must be working ok
