Are you wanting to do a fresh install, or keep what data you already have?
If #1, just insert your drive in the end of the connectors and go.
If #2, you could insert your drive in the slave(middle) connection, install xxClone and copy everything to new drive. Make bootable, change to the end connector( will be C then).

If going to install as master, just follow #1 above. Then you won't have to change again later.
Drive will be lettered as C, but that is the Windows looks to for booting.

Ya ****

Hi again,
What i am trying to figure out is how to get it on F
When I put the cd in the drive it wants to install on C drive which of course I dont want

I think i need to some how boot to F drive ...I think...
its been a while since i did this..years ago in a gateway PC...

sorry if i am or was not clear

I dont want to wipe c drive until i purchase my ghost
then i think i will just cherry pick info to be copied
...with a new XP on the New drive

I hope this is clearer...it just seemed clear to me to begin with but
...of course I know what i want to do...

Don't know how to get it to boot from F, but if the letter is important, just do as suggested, change to slave position, go to Disk Management and rename. If something else has F, rename it to clear the letter for use on your drive.
