Problem with new hard drive
Hi everyone, I am new to Techspot and I would love your help in solving a problem with a new hard drive in my laptop. I ground myself and installed the hard drive which I must add is compatible to the laptop but I got an error message that says that the primary hard drive is not found. What do I do to correct this?

Problem with new hard drive
I got the problem fixed. The computer could not detect the new hard drive because it was not properly connected. There was a case that covers the connectors and I did not remove it from the old hard drive and replace it over the connectors on the new hard drive. I saw a demonstration on youtube and I did what I was told and it worked. Thanks for your help.
