How can I get the video files that I click in IE, to play automatically in mpc?

For internet explorer, when i click the file link (avi, wmv etc.), it ask me if i want to save or open the file, i choose open but the file does not play directly in media player classic (which is my default player for all video files) instead it is being saved onto my hard disk.. how to solve this?

hi, all video formats are all already linked to media player classic as default (an example is that when i double click an avi file from my hard disk, the media player classic plays the file)..

my problem is that when i click a video file link and choose to open it... the file is "downloaded" into temp folder instead of automatically playing in media player classic?
