Linux toorox

noob question: i dont even know how to ask this but i'll try to be clear.
is there a specific way to download linux toorox to a dvd?i tried at least 4 times and nothing shows up on my dvd unit window(E:)
i read on the web i needed a burner but i never used one.
this is the linux site:

http://toorox.de/index.php?option=co...mid=14&lang=en
some of my data:
i am using windows xp professional 32 bit with a c: drive of 31.34gb left.
partitioned with the other drive(d:)and it has 25.63gb left.
4gb ram.
i don't want to install it yet just have it in a dvd in case windows gets me offguard and pc won't start. should i still follow the http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic214.html link ? since the steps in that page are to complicated for me or should i as a beginner not try it.?
ps. not urgent it's more of a curiosity.
what do you recommend. ty

You need a cd or dvd burner to burn the downloaded image to cd/dvd, almost any recent pc has at least a cd burner. I would suggest downloading knoppix or one of the other livecds listed here:
http://www.livecdlist.com/
Once you have the iso image, you need to burn it to a cd. Your cd burner software should have an option to burn image or something similar, you can't just copy the iso image to the disc. If you don't have burner software, try downloading deepburner free from here:
http://www.deepburner.com/
When you have the cd made, just put it in the cd drive and reboot. You may have to go into bios setup and change the boot order to cdrom first. Knoppix will run on most systems, you can see if you like it before messing with your drive setup.
