hello- i have just gotten a sata external docking station.
is it ok for me to ask here at techspot if anyone has used sata drives to sell?
i want to get a few to use for storage / backup needs, and since I will have a redundancy backup scheme, I figure I can use used drives versus new.

plus I know there are some of us out there who have upgraded and have smaller size sata drives sitting around. Someone please let me know if I am not allowed to ask for stuff like that here.

Techspot wants to avoid facilitating any sales just to keep us out of any problems that may arise between a buyer and seller. So generally no, this type of thing isn't allowed.

But, if you wanted to work something out with someone privately (through PMs or whatever) then there isn't much we can do about that . I'm going to go ahead and close this thread since I've answered the question, but I'll leave the thread viewable just incase...
