Help! my BSOD is back
this happened while playing grid, i formatted my xp on hp elitebook, and installed a fresh xp with sp2, installed ati driver from hp site, but the blue screen appeared after one minute in the game
i have ati radeon 3450 hd Error Message: STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078) error reporting led me to this: please help me here is the error dump: it mentions ati2dvag file caused the error. |

Driver cited was ati2mtag.sys which is an ATI driver The minidump also specifically said GRAPHICS_DRIVER_FAULT If you think the following might work for you... 1. Download Driver Cleaner Pro (free version) to your desktop screen and install. 2. Download the latest diver(s) for your video card but don't install them. 3. Uninstall your video card drivers and reboot your PC into Safe Mode. Run Driver Cleaner Pro. If it doesn't find any video card drivers that is quite okay. 4. Reboot and install new video card drivers. |
