Wireless Problem

The problem is that I cant use the wireless. I put a new copy of Windows XP onto the Laptop and installed every driver possible, yet still cant pick up any wireless connections, despite having a router and everything set up. I've installed the Intel Wireless driver which hasn't helped at all, also tried numerous other drivers in hope they'd work. Can anyone point me towards a solution?

Any help would be great.

System specs
check to see if the drivers are activated and the wifi card is seen in hardware.
if everything else is working and you know you have a signal, then you have a hardware issue.
