Hey guys

Im a huge football manager 2008 player, but my laptop now starts crashing at random points during gameplay. Sometimes it crashes on the game load screen, sometimes it will happen after an hour.

I've had the game for over a year It never used to do this - only in the last 3-4 months, and I can't figure out why as there is plenty of space on my laptop.

- Any advice/help in sourcing the problem would be much appreciated!!

This could be due to a myriad of reasons:

1. Corrupted memory. Run memtest on your RAM http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic62524.html

2. It could be due to heat. Gaming will put a load on your system causing heat. Make sure your fans are running especially on your video card.

3. You may need to update your video card drivers.

Regarding a possible heat problem, you might try opening the case to see if the cooling fan is clogged with dust.
