My laptop suddenly started beeping this morning (it was fine before), occasionally once, sometimes twice(one long beep, two short beeps - not together; almost random). I tried system restore because it worked for me when it happened to me before; now it won't stop beeping, usually when playing games. Nothing happens though; I keep expecting it to crash but so far it hasn't. It's just that annoying random beeping. How do I turn it off? I was also wondering if it's a hardware failure or if it could be caused by a virus?
