The problem:
1. About 50% of the time that I run a search on any search engine, when I click a result it goes to the site and then goes to an ad site.
2. The first attempt to open ie or firefox usually fails. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 times before it will open.
3. I am completely blocked from McAfee. I can't update. I can't even go to their site. I have also found that I am blocked from some other security sites.
I have followed the 8 steps and attached the logs. I was unable to update malwarebytes. I tried to download combofix, but I was blocked from that website. I have run Kapersky and not had any luck.
I would really appreciate any help I can get.
