MS 2003 Outlook Problem

i am no longer able to start outlook 2003. i get the message "cannot start microsoft office outlook. unable to locate the outlook window. the set of folders...., etc". on advice from internet provider, i reinstalled all of office 2003 and the same problem still exists (all i managed to do was loose all my email folders and saved emails). ms word and excel work fine. i have a dell computer with vista operating system. any ideas?

not likely that you lost it -- look in
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR LOGIN\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

or for Vista

C:\Users\YOUR LOGIN\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

I think the path statment is not there anymore. If the file is there and the path is not added in the outlook config it has no PST file to open and put the mail. It oculd also be a currupt PST file and you may need to create another one and then migrate the mail over.
