Windows 7 Hang?

Hi Guys

Im trying to install Windows 7 X64 via upgrade from Vista X64

All goes very well until it gets to the final step of transfering te files and programs and the it gets to 62% and hangs i've left it for about 5 hours and still nothing.

Specs

Q6600 2.4
4gb DDR2
1TB Samsung Hardrive
8800GT Sli
Creative X-Fi Gamer

Can anyone help me?

I believe MS suggests making a clean install of the OS, not upgrading.

Just make a backup of all your important data on the system partition and try then.

Got a spare 250gb hard drive anyways will throw everything I need on that and try again.
