I have set up RSSFeed scanner and I set up a feed and filter which both work fine. It shows the feed and says that my show passed the filter but then doesn't proceed to download.

hmm; the easy way is to just Subscribe to the RSS in a good email client and it will
download the new data when it becomes available.

torrent clients expose you to other nasty conditions
