8800 GTX error with Sims3, error report

Hi, I keep getting an error that makes the screen go to black when playing sims

System specs
"A problem with your video hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly"...

This is probably caused by bad or corrupted video drivers. Go to Nvidia's driver support website and download and install the latest driver for the 8800... Your computer may also be infected with a virus or other malware
