Laptop Proccesor Question

So i bought my laptop about 2 months ago and i was wondering if there is any way to upgrade a processor on a laptop? I asked few people and i get different answers. I want to know just in case i might upgrade the processor later.

The laptop is a ASUS G50-VT but here are some specs.

Specs:
Intel Centrino 2 dual core 2.13Ghz
4gb RAM
Nvidia 9800M GS 512mb
Windows vista home 64-bit

With some care, you can, but most who try it do not see significant improvements in speed... because it is the Front Side Bus that makes the operational difference... more than so with the CPU.
