Wireless card help

So today i notice my wireless light on mylaptop is off. So i turn the switch to turn it on but the computer still says its off. I try again and it says its still off. I tried everything windows had to offer and none of it worked. Is my wireless card dead? Do i need to replace it?

I have a ASUS G50-VT.

Have you tried a reboot? I'm not sure it will fix the problem, but it certainly won't hurt anything either.

You might try reinstalling the wireless driver from the ASUS support website... Don't worry, it the wireless card has quit you can always use a USB wireless Network device
