Java problems, can't reinstall/install it

Well, I've been trying to update my Java but apparently it gave me some weird problems.

"This software has already been installed on your computer. Would you like to reinstall it?"
If I click yes, it shows
"This action is only for valid products that are currently installed."

I've googled this problem but they all just gave the same answer.
"Do this, download this, run this"
I tried lots of things and I hope you guys can help me.

I tried
JavaRA
Tried CCleaner and a registry cleaner.
Tried uninstalling anything Java.
Deleted pogram files/java

This stuff is really annoying me, I hope you guys can help me get my Java back.

PS: I had no clue where to post this......lol.
Is this the right section? 0_O.

Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs> make a list of all Java programs there and paste it here.

Please include the name of the operating system you are using and the amount of RAM installed.

You not looking for programs that 'use' Java> you're looking for Java entries such as:
Java™ 6 update 14> this is the version you need to keep. Any older versions are the ones to delete.

Try download here: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Just thought I would tell you.
I fixed the problem.
I deleted some registry keys
Removed a IE8 Java plugin
And boom, the installation started working lol.

Glad you resolved it. I wouldn't have sent you into the Registry to do it- you were just lucky! Chances are the had the wrong plug-in in the first place!
