Front USB wiring problems
I have a TPeople (I'd never heard of them either!) case with two front USB ports and an Asus M3N78-VM motherboard. My problem is wiring the front USB's to the motherboard. I have checked other threads but none of thier wires match what mine say. I have four wires with this on them:
+ PORT - - PORT + There are two sets of the above. The wires are cased in an outer casing and there are two main wires with the four smaller ones poking out of the end. I have never seen anything like them before. All of the other USB's I've wired have been fairly easy to follow but this one has me very confused. I have the motherboard manuel at hand if thats any help to anyone. Can anyone help?! Thanks |

Could you possibly take a photo of the front panel usb connectors?
As far as my knowledge stretches, you should have a 10 pin connector, and the default layout is something like this.. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 1= Usb power 2= p-5 3= p+5 4= Ground 5=Dummy 6=usb power 7= p-4 8= p+4 9= Ground 0= is a blank Hope this helps
