My device manager shows my dvd writer hp 640c as working properly, but as of a week ago all my existing software that uses dvd say no burner can be found. I installed new software and reinstalled old software that was already on the pc, but still everything says no burner. I reloaded drivers for the dvd but system says drivers are up to date. Bottom line is system sees the device, but no software does,,aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
