D-link PCI adapter not connecting to my network

Hi, I have a D-Link airPlus G DWL-G510 Wireless PCI Adapter Version B1 and it will not connect to my network all my toher computers are fine except mine i foloowed the install insturctions step by step and nothing still won't connect any help appreciated

Try a different PCI slot.. Did you install the drivers first. Then shutdown the system. Install the card. Then reboot into OS. If you don't no activity then the card is DOA (dead on arrival).
Which OS are you using?

OS = operating system ex: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Apple MAC OSX etc..

Windows Xp home edition and i tryed a different slot and it still didnt work
