Disk Boot Failure help

Disk Boot Failure help

I bought a used computer and when i try to turn on the computer,it said Disk Boot Failure,Insert System Disk and press enter.
The thing is, that i dont have any disk, can somebody tell me how to fix it Please!!!!!

Hi there,

Do you have any usb devices attached to the machine? If so, then I would recommend unplugging them and seeing if that solves your issue.

Otherwise, I'd be looking at running disk checks on your hard drive

Thank you for responding I dont have any usb cable attached.how can I run disk checks on my hard drive.

If you know the model of your hard drive then we can match the tool.

Otherwise, I find that seatools works for all disk at detecting errors. But won't be able to fix them unless it is Maxtor or Seagate. But its good to know if you have issues

Instructions for running seatools are listed here as well as a download

I'd suggest downloading/running Seatools for Dos
